Work City of Oxford CollegeAdvertising, email campaigns, newsletters, SEO and website maintenance were just some of the marketing activities I carried out at the City of Oxford college, resulting in a 10% increase in enquiries and an 11% uplift in organic traffic wot the website. I also provided training on the Sitecore CMS to colleagues within the marketing team, and was on the project board for the development of the new Activate Learning website which formed part of the college’s restructuring plans. Said Business SchoolAt the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, I was responsible for the overall website strategy and a team of 60 website editors. I was also on the project board for the redevelopment of the research area of the website. During my time here, I increased organic traffic to the SBS website by 12%, implemented new processes for managing and training editors, and helped to successfully deliver a new research section for the academic stakeholders at the school. HMVHMV were undergoing a major redevelopment to their website, and required a number of services to support with this, including a full technical SEO audit, a metadata review and fixing any issues found. By completing these tasks, the overall health of the HMV website improved by over 20%, and their meta data was fully optimised for search engines, resulting in a rise in organic traffic. Yo! SushiYo! needed a full SEO audit completed to assess the health of their website and improve their search engine rankings. This allowed them to idenitfy areas of that needed attention, such as duplicate title tags, broken internal links and missing H1 tags, which were then resolved. The result was a healthier website that started to perform better for key search terms Yo! were looking to target. In addition to this, new meta data for their sushi kiosks was created, and a series of links were disavowed, providing a further SEO boost. West P and IWest P and I are a leading global insurance provider to the maritime industry, who were looking for digital marketing expertise that would improve the search rankings of their website, which they could maintain in the long term in-house. To achieve this, I completed a full SEO audit of their site, which highlighted issues that were affecting it. Once these had been addressed, I completed a training session with their marketing team, so they knew how to maintain their web pages for SEO purposes in future, and completed a keyword analysis to identify keywords that they could look to target in the future. StudentialStudential is an online education platform, which I co-founded in 2002 with the aim of helping students secure thier place at university. Over the course of 20 years, I have written and curated content for the website, completed numerous SEO audits, created social media posts and newsletter campaigns to raise brand awareness, and headed up the overall digital marketing strategy for the business. This has led to over 650,000 unique visitors a month, and top search rankings for key education terms.
